The bizblinddate system doesn't like my password. What's wrong? Please use only letters and numbers (no spaces, symbols, underscores, dashes). Make sure you have between 6 and 12 letters and numbers. This should solve your problem.
I have a PayPal account, but not a PayPal email address. What should I do? All we need is your email address which is linked to your PayPal account. This is the email address you use to log in at the PayPal website.

Why “blind date” ? Think about it. What is networking if not a blind date? Someone you know recommends that you and another business person who you’ve never met get together to discuss opportunities. Isn’t that really a “blind date”? A business blind date?
What about going to an event? You’re hoping to meet new business people you’ve never met before, right? Again, a business blind date!
My feedback score changed and I haven't even had a meeting this week. Is something wrong? Remember, the bizblinddate system is constantly recalculating every member's feedback score (displayed as a percentile) based upon how they compare to every other member. Therefore your score will naturally rise and fall every time ANY feedback is submitted by ANY member.

Most social networking sites are free. Why does bizblinddate charge a membership fee? Great question! Social networking sites are a great place to find old acquaintances and make new acquaintances however they don’t actually provide a tangible face-to-face appointment. bizblinddate IS NOT a social networking site! bizblinddate is a service that connects like minded business people together for face-to-face business networking meetings far more efficiently and cost effectively than any other service. Interestingly enough, because of our new member referral incentive, bizblinddate is actually less expensive than free because most members recoup more than their membership investment by referring new members.
What exactly is business networking? Business networking is a highly effective form of word-of-mouth marketing.
Business networking is the process of establishing mutually beneficial relationships with other business people. These business people may be potential clients, suppliers, employers, employees, mentors, and strategic allies.
Can I refer someone from another state? Absolutely, and you’ll receive your referral incentive and your referral network strength will increase as well.
Why pay referral incentives? Why not! One of the core success “truths” in business is that you need to create and encourage “good habits” and avoid and discourage “bad habits”. Every business person should be networking and growing their networks. This is a “good habit” and we encourage that by paying a referral incentive. As an additional encouragement we may offer a Networker of the Month Award.

How did you choose the charities the bizblinddate charity fund supports? Our donating members direct our giving when they join. For more information on the bizblinddate Charity Fund click on the Charity Fund Link on the right side of our home page before logging in or click on "Our Thank You Program" from the To Do List on the left, then click on "bizblinddate charity fund" near the center of the page.
Can I recommend my favorite charity? Yes, at the time you join you can designate your favorite charity by searching for them on www.networkforgood.org
What if I’m matched to someone I’ve referred into the system? So long as the person you referred used your Unique Referral ID upon joining, the system prevents the two of you from ever being matched.
What if I’m matched to someone I already know? If you are already an active networker this will undoubtedly happen on occasion. Take advantage of the opportunity we have provided to have a substantive meeting and take solace in the fact that your bizblinddate membership is extremely affordable. One final word... one way to decrease the odds of this happening is to be more selective in your search criteria, perhaps changing geographical or industry parameters.
Do you offer discounts for large groups? Yes. Send an email to customerservice@bizblinddate.com with your contact information, name of your group, size of your group, and any other relevant information. We will let you know what discounts are available.
This would be a great addition to the services my association offers its members. Can the association contact you? Yes. We offer several ways for associations and non-profits to benefit from a relationship with bizblinddate. Please have the association email customerservice@bizblinddate.com with contact information.

My screen looks weird and occasionally the tabs don’t work perfectly. What’s going on? First, our apologies. While we have tried to make the bizblinddate site compatible with every version of every web browser, there are some older legacy versions that simply do not support the advanced nature of the bizblinddate site well. For example, certain navigation sequences will cause members using Internet Explorer 6 to occasionally get strange displays. PLEASE NOTE: THESE ANOMOLIES ARE DISPLAY ONLY ISSUES. THE MATCHING ALOGORITHMS AND ALL OTHER FUNCTIONALITY ARE WORKING FLAWLESSLY. You can update your Internet Explorer at www.microsoft.com
How do I differentiate myself and increase my desirability as a business networking partner? Several ways. First, by delivering value at your meetings and receiving high feedback scores. Second, by following through on your network meeting commitments and receiving a high follow-through score. Third, by referring as many new members (especially other great business networkers) to the bizblinddate network.
What happens if my meeting was cancelled? This should rarely happen as it violates on of the most basic Codes of Conduct. As such, bizblinddate monitors this poor conduct closely. You should select the appropriate feedback depending upon how the cancellation was handled. Naturally, most meetings are quickly rescheduled and everything proceeds normally. If a meeting is not rescheduled you have our apologies. Be sure to leave appropriate feedback.
What happens if my meeting is rescheduled? Proceed as you would normally and provide feedback that reflects how well you felt the rescheduling process was handled. You have up to 14 days to complete your meeting and feedback. AFTER THE 14TH DAY YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SCHEDULE NEW MEETINGS UNLESS FEEDBACK IS PROVIDED.
What keeps someone from purposefully giving me bad feedback even though I did a great job at our meeting? Paranoid? Seriously, why would they? To what end? I suppose this might happen from time to time and we apologize in advance if it happens. Even though all feedback is anonymous among members, we do monitor all feedback for signs of inequity and abuse and take action - up to and including member dismissal.
