Purpose of the Fund
To create an opportunity for bizblinddate and its members to achieve a positive impact in our world through charitable giving.
To that end we would like you to consider allowing bizblinddate to donate the Referral Thank-You incentive you would have earned to charity instead of keeping it for yourself.
How it works
Upon joining bizblinddate as a member you will be asked how you would like your Referral
Thank-You incentive income to be directed. You'll be given two options:
1. I would like BBD Connections, Inc. (the parent company of bizblinddate) to contribute an amount equal to the Referral Thank-You incentive I would have earned to the bizblinddate charity fund. I understand that BBD Connections, Inc. will build upon this contribution by matching it in part or full. I understand that any tax benefit realized from this contribution will belong to BBD Connections Inc. and that I cannot claim this contribution as a charitable deduction on my income taxes.
2. I would like to participate in the Referral Thank-You Program by receiving quarterly referral incentive payments to a PayPal account. I have read, understood and I agree to the program guidelines under which this program is administered.
If you choose Option 1 your Referral Thank-You incentive will be directed to the bizblinddate charity fund.
You will then receive the following prompt:
Thank you for supporting the bizblinddate charity fund. It is our intent to have our members help direct the contributions made by the bizblinddate charity fund.
To help us represent your favorite charity please go to http://www.networkforgood.org/donate/
And choose a charity. Then, cut and paste that charity name in the text box below.

What charities are supported?
The bizblinddate charity fund will contribute to those charities indicated by our members. Charity options will be limited to those listed on the website:

While it is our desire to distribute the fund equally to every favorite charity of every bizblinddate member the number of charities may become impractical to manage at some point.
If this becomes the case the bizblinddate charity fund will need to decrease the number of charities to a manageable level. How this is accomplished is the sole discretion of the bizblinddate charity fund and may include but not be limited to ranking the charities by member popularity or picking from random from the broader list of member favorites.
Why shouldnt I just make a donation directly to the charity of my choice?
Good question! While you certainly can make a contribution yourself, we make our members' contributions go further because donations made through the bizblinddate charity fund are matched fifty cents for each dollar donated, up to a maximum of $5,000 per fiscal calendar quarter.
How will I track the bizblinddate fund contributions?
As part of your membership you will be able to view your referrals and the associated thank-you referral incentive donations online at www.bizblinddate.com.
In addition the fund will post an annual report at www.bizblinddate.com showing the amount of funds collected, funds matched and funds distributed including the names of the charities to which the funds were contributed.
